Q generally uses the same font and the same style of it - the method of a white background with black font. With titles and headers, they use a bold red background with bold white font, following the style of the masthead on the front cover. This technique is used throughout the different segments of the magazine and can also be found in each issue. For the different slugs in each section, the background colour changes to signify the change in theme, but the idea of white font against a contrasting background continues.

G321 - Q House Styles
Q has a lot of ongoing house styles, such as having a Q in the corner of each page where the page numbers are to continuous branding as well as having a bold red font on every page. These are obvious Q branding to remind the reader that they are reading a Q magazine.

Another house style that Q use is at the beginning of each article, the drop cap is in bold white font in a small red box. This is a copy of the masthead and is there to remind the reader of the magazine that they're reading and to maintain the house style throughout.
Then on the contents page, there's a column called "Q Review" which is a continuous thing that they do to keep the readers updated on certain things. Audiences generally enjoy familiarity, so by not changing these house styles the audience is able to comfortably read the magazine on a weekly/monthly basis and have new and regular things to read about.
Then, on the first few pages of the magazine itself if an "Editors Letter", which is clearly a recurring feature in most magazines that readers tend to overlook. But it's still there and is there in every issue, which contributes to the house style of Q.
Again, on the first few pages is a page dedicated to a playlist known as "Q Playlist", followed up with "the songs that have made the Q stereo this month". This shows the reader that this is another regular occurrence and that they can always check each magazine for song recommendations since it's there every issue.
